Previous Weight: 162.8#'s (12 weeks PP)
Technically my weight is up a pound from last week. I did see as low as 160.8 on the scale this weekend though, so I'm chalking it up to water weight fluctuations...I know that I didn't consume enough to gain & definitely had enough activity to counteract any "extras." In the spirit of consistency & transparency I'm posting (and tracking) my Monday morning stats. It's also motivation to eat clean today & see the "right" number appear tomorrow or the next day;-)
Let's talk about yesterday's 11 miler shall we? It was SO.MUCH.BETTER than last week's 10 miler! And only 7 minutes longer in run time:-) Which means we ran faster! It was a crisp and BEAUTIFUL morning & we ran from my house to the trail & looped back, which was more fun than our typical out and back.
I also didn't have any digestive issues, which always makes running more pleasant. I haven't been eating waffles much lately, which was my pre-fuel for the 10-miler. I switched it up to toast w/PB & banana slices on top and one cup of coffee for yesterday. Much better...remember this for race day GINA! During the run I fueled with Gatorade's version of chomps and they were decent tasting and not too chewy. Also had regular and electrolyte water. Overall a very good run. We even managed to pick it up at the end.
Our plan was to run a 12 miler this coming weekend and then taper, but my partner in crime is getting her wisdom teeth pulled this Friday, so I'm not sure if I'm going to attempt it on my own or trade it in for something shorter. I know we'll be able to manage the half marathon distance just fine, so it might end up being a pull back week. Maybe we'll follow it up with a 10 miler the following week & then another taper week before the race? Great thing about creating your own training plan is that you can alter as necessary to fit your schedule.
One more week of the dietbet! I've got to see that low number from this weekend again to win it! I don't think I'll have much trouble doing that & it'll keep me in check this coming weekend, so I think my participation has been a success so far. For my own personal goal I'd like to see 159.9 or below. That would mean losing about a pound this week, if the 160.8 number was accurate from Saturday morning. I've got this! Then it's only 10 more pounds to my ultimate goal! Not too shabby for 3 months PP!
